Challenge
After three phases of facilitation, cooperatives and BUMDes in Kaubun now face a new challenge: strengthening the cocoa supply chain while maturing the smart-aggregator model toward financial self-reliance. PT Ganda Alam Makmur needed integrated mentoring that pulled together the gains of every prior phase into one genuinely self-reliant enterprise model. An added challenge was building omni-channel sales so the enterprise wouldn't depend on a single market route.
What we did
Our team is facilitating cocoa supply-chain strengthening and smart-aggregator maturation in Kaubun, targeting financial self-reliance and omni-channel sales. Phase IV mentoring is integrated by design, drawing together the results of the three prior phases into one coherent enterprise model. The project is ongoing, continuing our long-term collaboration with PT Ganda Alam Makmur.
Outcome
Cooperatives and BUMDes in Kaubun are building a stronger cocoa supply chain and a maturing smart-aggregator model on the path to financial self-reliance. The omni-channel sales being developed are widening market routes beyond conventional mechanisms. Phase IV draws the Kaubun facilitation journey since 2023 — from basic governance through the smart aggregator to operational self-reliance — into a single integrated model.
