Challenge
After two earlier phases of facilitation, cooperatives and BUMDes in Kaubun Subdistrict needed to move from simply operating to operational self-reliance. PT Ganda Alam Makmur saw the need for supply consolidation, quality improvement, and cleaner record-keeping so community enterprises could compete in wider markets. The challenge in this phase was pushing toward self-reliance without losing the momentum already built.
What we did
Our team facilitated the transition toward operational self-reliance through supply consolidation, quality improvement, digital record-keeping, and market expansion for cooperatives and BUMDes in Kaubun. Phase III built directly on the results of the two prior phases with PT Ganda Alam Makmur. The focus shifted from basic strengthening toward longer-term enterprise readiness.
Outcome
Cooperatives and BUMDes in Kaubun now run more consolidated supply chains, improved product quality, and a digital record-keeping system that supports decision-making. The markets they reach also expanded compared to earlier phases. Phase III set the foundation for the integrated Phase IV mentoring that followed a year later.
